Analysis of the Blackberry Bold 9000 and BlackBerry Bold 9700 Video Review
Last year, with much thrill, the very first 3G Blackberry mobile phone was put on the market, called the Blackberry Bold 9000. With it’s exceptionally swift speeds compared to RIM’s older EDGE devices, astounding picture quality and a lot more, RIM was able to set a new bar for their Blackberry mobiles. After that came the Curve/Javelin 8900, Storm 9530, Storm 2 9550, Tour 9630 and the Curve/Gemini 8520 . Research in Motion has finally announced the Blackberry Bold 9700, and with delight, have shown quicker speeds, extreme picture quality, and a lot more features.
Numerous Blackberry users have been enthusiastically calling *611 to Rogers, T-mobile in the USA, AT&T – USA demanding phone upgrades, tons of people signing new agreements with these wireless companies, and the third party markets like Craigslist are being clouded with high prices on the Bold 9700 AKA Onyx. Part 2: 9000 versus 9700 – Video and Pictures
In our best attempt, we’ve shot images in low light in a fixed position (9000) vs (9700), and in bright light (9000) vs (9700)with the 2 compared camera phones from the same views. We also thought it would be of use to take video views of downtown Toronto with the Bold 1 in 1 hand and the Bold 9700 in opposite hands. Here, you will be able tomeasure the video class as well as the audio worth from both RIM products.
- Picture Value: Low light & Brighter Light images
- Video Quality: Exhibits the sounds of loud traffic.
Findings:
We’ve been able to draw some findings from our video assessment.
- With version 5.0 on the Bold 9700, processing speeds, web rates and features such as messaging are considerably superior
- The lighter weight and smaller device make it more comfortable to carry around
- Embedded rubber buttons will break slower on the Bold 9700 than the metal buttons on the 9000
- Pictures capture more colors with the 9700.
- Video class is considerably different. The 9000 has a higher pitched audio and has a tendency to ”lose signal”, while the Bold 9700 grabs more of what your voice really sounds like and blocks out unnecessary racket, yet captures faint sought after noises.
In our belief, we believe that the BlackBerry 9700 will be the top Blackberry device obtainable on the market for at least the next year.
